Access Control

Nobody understands access control better than Systems Northwest. SNW and its technicians have been installing and servicing access control for over 25 years. We are experts in server-premise-based access control and have been leading Montana in cloud-based access control for the past 10 years. All our technicians are factory trained for the select few systems we install. Our technicians are trained on door hardware installation including ADA operators, electrified crash bars, and mortise sets. We have the knowledge and expertise to get the job done.

All of our installs are held to a high level of quality. Cabling will be installed neat and orderly above the ceilings or in conduit, cabling will be dressed into the power supplies, labeled, and terminated. Each door will be tested to verify all functions are operational. Our sales team understands the code and requirements for each of your entry/exit points and will make sure the correct hardware is selected for your application that is code compliant.

Fire Alarm

At Systems Northwest we set the standard when it comes to our Fire Alarm system installs. SNW has every aspect covered. SNW is one of the only Fire Alarm contractors in the state that has an in-house team of CAD certified engineers that will provide an engineered set of shop drawings for your Fire Alarm project. While others simply plot devices on a floor plan with Adobe or Bluebeam, SNW takes it to the next level and does fully engineered CAD shop drawings that meet all of the requirements set forth and required by NICET and your local AHJ. SNW's engineers have working relationships with all State and local AHJ's and work with them to make sure your project will meet all local codes and requirements so you know your occupants are protected. SNW takes pride making sure all of our techs are factory trained, in-house trained through our in-house training program, and that our technicians are NICET certified. We have multiple technicians on staff certified from Level I to Level IV and it is SNW's goal to have all technicians NICET certified.

SNW's quality of install for fire alarm exceeds all others — every cable is labeled, each device is labeled, every cable route is documented on the drawings, every device is tested, every aspect of the program is tested. When SNW hands over the final paperwork for a new fire alarm system you can rest assured your building's occupants are safe. Once your project is completed our team of engineers will then generate an updated as-built drawing so you have an accurate record of your installation.

At Systems Northwest our quality is what sets us apart. When it comes to our structured cabling installs we meet or exceed all BICSI standards for installation. All our technicians are factory trained along with being trained in-house to meet the additional quality controls and standards that Systems Northwest holds themselves to. SNW takes great pride in delivering a final product that will stand the test of time — clean and organized to allow the IT team to work quickly and efficiently in each of their IT rooms. All cabling is neatly combed and dressed from the point it enters the IT room to the point it is landed on the patch panel. Each cable is tested with the latest version of Fluke Versiv cable testers. All fiber is installed to current BICSI standards and SNW only performs fusion splicing of ends to meet the highest standards. Each fiber is then tested with the latest version of Fluke Versiv fiber testers. Regardless of the size of the facility, SNW will deliver a picture-quality, aesthetically pleasing project every time.
